Camp Shoresh provides 107 acres of fun!

Join us for a summer like no other. Your children will flourish on our beautiful campus as they enjoy all that Shoresh has to offer. Campers build wonderful lasting friendships with other Jewish children, forge relationships with fabulous counselors and delight in our fantastic programming.

Our youngest campers, aged 4—6, enjoy their own private wing in our beautiful Community Center which houses their bunk rooms, as well as an arts and crafts center designed specifically for them. They love their private swim time each day in our graded entry pool which is ideal for swimmers of all ages and levels, and have a fabulous time swinging and climbing on their state of the art playground. They enjoy their own private sports fields as well as archery lessons with our certified instructor. They will have the opportunity to use our low challenge course and will have one off-site field trip per session.

Our older campers absolutely love watching our youngest Shoresh campers perform each Friday; it is truly a wonderful way to showcase Jewish songs or themes learned during the week. Additionally, these youngsters will play in our fully stocked game room and will take exciting nature walks throughout our campus. Our exceptional Little and Junior Shoresh Director, MollyBeth Rushfield, keeps our youngest campers busy, stimulated and happy with her creative programming and warm personal flair. These 5 and 6 year olds will return home from camp with fabulous projects and fantastic reports of the exciting things they have done each day.

Our Shoresh campers, 2nd—8th graders, have a variety of amazing activities and programs designed to cater to the interests of each camper. A typical day at Shoresh will be comprised of four activity periods. Each day, campers will swim in our fabulous pool complete with pool slide and will enjoy at least one sport. Sports include basketball, volleyball, football, soccer, gaga, baseball, kickball, dodgeball, ultimate frisbee, as well as, red rover, freeze tag, belts and steal the salami for our younger campers. The remainder of the day will be filled with activities such as arts and crafts, woodworking, gameroom, archery, high and low challenge courses, game shows and scavenger hunts. Additionally, these campers will delight in amusement park trips to both Hershey Park and Six Flags, an overnight on the campus, color war, visits from pro-athletes, and two unbelievable Shabbatonim.

Our C.I.T.s, 9th and 10th graders, enjoy all their favorite camp activities as well as exclusive C.I.T. trips and activities geared specifically to them which make this program an unforgettable and invaluable experience. C.I.T.s gain skills and knowledge that prepare them to be Shoresh counselors or for other employment opportunities. They even have their own hangout called “the Diner”.
